PAGENAME is an interactive part in gamename. ==Overview== Bearings allow for any sort of rotational movement. The block the bearing is placed on acts as the base, while the object placed onto the bearing is the rotating piece. While a creation is on a Lift, all bearings will be locked in place. Once the lift is removed, the bearings will be able to freely rotate and their connected rotating parts will respond to physics. If they are linked to a control part, they will rotate only when the control is activated and their connected parts won't respond to physics. Bearings are a central part of vehicle creation. They allow wheels to rotate and be steered. The Bearing in every color in Scrap Mechanic. ==Obtaining== PAGENAMEs are dropped by Damaged Crates and can be found in Ruin Chests. ==Crafting== ==Control== Bearings can be controlled with a Gas Engine, Electric Engine, Driver's Seat, or Controller by using the Connect Tool to connect the bearings to the control part. The Connect Tool can also toggle a connected bearing's rotation direction by right-clicking. ===Engines=== See also: Gas Engine, Electric Engine Bearings connected to a Gas Engine or Electric Engine rotate when the engine is powered. If the engine is connected to another control part, such as a Switch or Driver's Seat, the bearings will rotate only when the control is active. In the case of the Driver's Seat, the bearings rotate forward when the W key is pressed and rotate in reverse when the S key is pressed. ===Driver's Seat=== Driver's Seat Bearings connected to a Driver's Seat can be controlled with the A and D keys. The bearings will rotate in their forward direction when D is pressed and in their reverse direction when A is pressed. When turned by the Driver's Seat, bearings turn 27Β° in either direction, but if it is a Driver's Seat 5, you can configure the turn speed and angle. ===Controller=== Controller The Controller allows for more precise control over bearings. Starting angles and a rotation sequence can be defined using the Controller.
