Builder Guide is an interactive part in Scrap Mechanic.
Overview[]
The Builder Guide is used to teach the Mechanic how to build a basic vehicle in Survival Mode. It projects a hologram showing each step of the process.
Picking up the Builder Guide starts the Your First Car quest.
Usage[]
To activate the Builder Guide, place it on the Lift and follow the instructions. The quest can be cancelled at any time by removing the unfinished creation from the Lift or removing the Builder Guide.
Obtaining[]
The Builder Guide is found near the Crashed Maintenance Ship entrance, buried in dirt.
Trivia[]
- Before the Builder Guide was added, the Handbook was the only in-game means of teaching vehicle building.
