Developer Tiles

Developer Tiles are a set of unused tiles in Scrap Mechanic.

Overview

There are several unused tiles, made for testing purposes, which have been left in the game files.

These are labelled: ”AllTrees.tile”, “elevator_test_warehouse.tile”, “Error.tile”, “Fences.tile”, “Loot.tile” and “TestHideout.tile”. The files are located under "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Terrain\Tiles\test".

Error		Tile containing a large red arrow, an array of all the ground textures and the word "Hej" which is Swedish for Hello.	???	Small

Loot		A small tile consisting of all the loot harvestables found in the game. These are ember trees, oil geysers, corn, flowers, clams, cotton and beehives.	fa6b45e0-dbb3-4f9c-81ce-b3892822515c	Small
TestHideout		A tile containing assets used in the hideout and other various assets and parts. Interactive parts such as a Craftbot, Refinery, Mountable Spudgun and Toliet seat will also generate here.	aac54903-d92d-4717-b59c-8487f232bba5	Small
