The Sensor activates when a Mechanic, Robot, Animal, or any kind of object passes in front of it. It can be set to operate as a button or switch. The detection range can be set from 1 to 20 blocks, 10 by default.
It can also act as a color sensor if color mode is enabled. Once color mode is enabled, a color palette will appear. There are 40 colors to choose from. After you picked a color, the sensor will only activate if the sensor can see something in the selected range that is painted in the selected color.
