Water Bucket is a utility item in Scrap Mechanic.

Overview

The Water Bucket is a blue bucket that can hold fluids, including Water and Chemicals.

Filled Water Buckets have their handle raised and fluid visible inside them in their inventory icon.

A Water Bucket filled with Chemicals becomes a Chemical Bucket.

Usage

Left-click on a body of Water or a Chemical Spill to fill the bucket. Left-click with a filled bucket to throw the liquid.

Water thrown by the Water Bucket can water Plants, put out fires, and stun Haybots briefly.

Hold F and left-click to place the Water Bucket.

Tip: A fast way of filling buckets is equipping them in your hotbar, step into the liquid and quickly scroll through them with your mouse.

Obtaining

Water Buckets can be found placed down in some locations along shorelines. At least one is always found in the Farming tutorial area near the Crashed Maintenance Ship, as well as in some of the nearby Ruins.
